Conceptually, I always wanted to do a record like this. It's in two alternating parts. Part 1 is essentially the same music but written in a modular fashion and arranged differently each take. The arrangements were not done on paper. Rather, through a shouted "code" of cities and states, I made up the arrangements on the fly, never to be exactly repeated. You can hear them in the background. This "suite" of the same basic music is interspersed with Part 2, pieces that have nothing at all do do with Part 1, nor with each other.
